The 100-hour special training is designed to be completed over 16 days of immersive study and practice. This focused program blends traditional asana, pranayama, meditation, and yogic philosophy to offer a complete deepening of your understanding and experience of yoga.

By the end of this special training, you will have deepened your personal practice, expanded your understanding of breath and movement synchronization, and gained insight into classical yogic teachings that inform modern yoga today.
Srivatsa Ramaswami (86) was a student of the legendary yogi Sri T. Krishnamacharya for over 30 years. He studied Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Krama Yoga, chanting of several chapters of the Yajur Veda, and Sanskrit philosophical texts like the Upanishad Vidyas from Taittiriya, Mandukya, Mundaka, Chandogya, Brihadaranyaka and others including Yoga Sutras and Samkhya Karika. He has published four books: Yoga for the Three Stages of Life; Yoga Beneath the Surface (with David Hurwitz); Basic Tenets of Patanjala Yoga; and The Complete Book of Vinyasa Yoga.
In addition published more than 100 yoga related articles, released through "Sangeetha" about 30 CD's on Sanskrit chants including Yoga Sutras, Surya Namaskara. Has uploaded about 60 videos on chants, Vinyasa Krama Yoga talks on YouTube. Has been teaching for the last 40 years—about 20 years at Kalakshetra in India and for about 10 years teaching a 200-hour Vinyasakrama Teacher Training Summer Program at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, apart from several shorter programs in Utah, Chicago, UK, Canada, Mexico, India, Europe and other places.
It is strongly recommended you come for the full 100-hour training, but we know this is not possible for all. So please join in the first half only if that is what is possible for you.
We highly recommend signing up early. Please ensure you bring a copy of the text we will study. Also bring water, your yoga mat, and notebook/pen, and comfortable clothing for practicing and sitting.
