Program Structure
YogaSoul’s 200-hour program combines flexible self-paced study with scheduled weekend immersions. This unique structure allows you to balance your training with your personal and professional commitments, completing the program in just 4–5 months.
Part of makes our 200-hour program unique is that we offer small classes. We understand each person is a human and needs to be heard, and offered many opportunities to speak and ask questions, and be mentored as you discover quality teaching skills and knowledge.
Our program prepares students for teaching, while also weaving yoga aspects into daily life, by not only teaching asana, but also full spectrum of yoga, relating to meditation, pranayama, ethics and values, and how they can assist the human condition, as taught by the great sage Patanjali.
We believe yoga is truly the journey to the Self, meaning the physical practice is wonderful for developing balance in physical strength and flexibility, but we also believe we must weave into our practice the understanding of proper breath-work, meditation, and other authentic methods, to truly help our students to develop an in-side out practice.
It is not just an introductory teaching course, but one that will advance your own practice and understanding of yoga, as you learn to teach myriad populations a practice that meets each human where they are, and help your students discover, and awaken to, their own path to healing and balance in life.
This program is appropriate as well for students who would like to participate as a way to enhance their own practice, and life, even if teaching is not your dharma path. There are deeply lineage-based teachings in our program, with many therapeutic values, that teach well beyond yoga asana and vinyasas, into the constructs of daily life.
